David Sine Rejoins District Champs - Sonora

After two short stints away from the Sonora Broncos, Coach David Sine will return as Head Coach and Athletic Director.  Sine previously led the Broncos to a 28-7 record over three seasons from 2009-2011.

Coach Sine's career totals (95-65-0) and stops as head coach:

2008-2008 Flatonia   57-39
2009-2011   Sonora    28-7
2012              Columbus  3-7
2013-2014    Bandera     7-12
2015-             Sonora

Previous Head Coach, Craten Phillips took the same position with Lago Vista after three straight 11-win seasons in Sonora.

Sine takes over a team that has gone 61-17 since 2008 (including his previous 28-7 record) and has been developing into a consistent power player recently.  With the exception of a minor dip just prior to Sine's first stint here, Sonora has seen some good coaches over the years and been accustomed to winning.

but Coach Sine has quite a few All-District players returning.

With the team accustomed to winning, combined with the returning talent, Coach Sine should be in a good position to help the Broncos continue as a favorite to take home the district title and likely double-digit wins for the sixth straight season.
