Old High Names Paul Sharr Head Coach

Paul Sharr is now the 21st head coach of Wichita Falls High School.  Sharr replaced Danny Russell who resigned March 7th to take another head coaching opportunity at Garland .

Sharr was the defensive line coach and assistant athletic director at Marshall during the last 3 seasons.  Sharr has a coaching career that spans 25 years. His firstcoaching job was an assistant coach at Justin Northwest. He also went to Irving and Flower Mound as an assistant coach before landing his first head coaching positions.  Coach Sharr served as the head coach  and AD at Fort Worth Brewer for 5 years.

For now, Sharr is planning to meet up with this players to get to know them better and build up a good relationship with them. He is also considering to move his family to Wichita Falls permanently so that he can make a good connection not just with the athletes but with the community as well.
