Mike Says: I always love to see how our pre-season rankings will look come championship time. The four teams we have going to the big game were all participants in the 2014 championships. Three of them made it to the show last year. In Division I, we have Mineola avenging their 70-40 loss to Cameron Yoe. This would make the 5th consecutive state championship game for the Yoemen and their 6th in the last 7 years. In Division II, Waskom is predicted to make their 3rd consecutive state championship game. Their opponent, Canadian will be making their 3rd consecutive appearance and their 6th championship game since 2007. The only difference is that Canadian is moving up to Class 3A Division II after winning the Class 2A Division I Championship the last 2 years.

Chris Says: For Canadian to be in the picture at all after moving up in Class and graduating some of the best players the Wildcats have ever seen is amazing.  You can say something amazing though about all four of our predicted teams in the championship games.  Will the "rich get richer" in terms of football success or will one of the newcomers (Yoakum, Boling or Hooks) end up in the title game? And don't rule out some of the teams we have showing up in the Regional championship games - teams like Franklin, Coleman and Sunnyvale could be poised to start some championship runs of their own.  Regardless of who is playing that final week in Arlington, Class 3A is going to be an absolute blast to watch!
