How did the top teams do in Week 5?

LSG 2016 Rankings

(bookmark this page because it will be updated every week)

That will show you how the top teams fared, but as always, there were some surprises. Here are a few teams to watch as they might be moving towards the top of the rankings.

Teams to Watch

6A - Round Rock Cedar Ridge (5-0) - The Raiders are 5-0 on the season and are quietly on their way to a what looks to be a 10-0 regular season record. They have not played the toughest of schedules and they have had no problems winning those games. The toughest remaining opponent is #43 Round Rock.

5A - Richmond Foster (5-0) - The Falcons are starting to dominate teams lately outscoring the last 3 opponents 150-27. They have a bye week this week. I am really looking forward to their upcoming district games against Victoria East (3-1) and Angleton (4-1) in weeks 9 and 10.

4A - Sweetwater (4-0) - The Mustangs put 80 points on the board this week. They have outscored their opponents 234-78 so far. Their toughest remaining opponent will be #31 Midland Greenwood.

3A - White Oak (5-0) - They are coming off of a big win this week. Look for them to roll through district play and end with a perfect 10-0 regular season record.

2A - Alto (4-1) - The Yellow Jackets beat a 4A team this week. Their only loss has been to #10 3A DII Arp. They will play #17 Price Carlisle for what should be the district championship in 3 weeks.
