Mike Says: Combined together, these schools have been to the state championship game 14 times. The problem is that they have only won 5. Highland Park knocked off Dallas are favorite Denton Ryan while Temple knocked off Houston are favorite Manvel. This will be a great game. The SCOTS win in what may be an upset 31-30.

Chris Says: Neither of these teams has a winning record in championship games, but they have been to a boatload of them.  Dallas Highland Park can bring their record to even (3-3-1) with a win and I just can't go against Randy Allen.  Give me the Scots in a 4 point game.

Glen Says: Temple has too much size and speed for the boys on the hilltop. This one is close until the 2nd half. 14 point edge for Temple
