The teams traded punts again to open the 2nd quarter. WOS got on a roll the next time they got the ball bu was stopped on 4th down in Sweetwater territory. Sweetwater in turn converted on two 4th down conversions but they could not convert on the 3rd. WOS took over on their own 11 with 3:59 left until half. It was not the passing of Jack Dallas that moved the team but this time it was a direct snap to Keion Hancock who threw it to Jay'len Matthews. WOS was able to get a touchdown with a 2 yard run by running back Jeremiah Shaw. They now led 7-6 with 29 seconds left. That is how the half ended.

Sweeterwater turned the ball over on the 1st play of the 2nd half when defensive back Jarron Morris picked off a pass and returned it inside the Sweetwater 10 yard line. The Sweetwater defense held and forced a field goal try. WOS kicker Chad Dallas booted the 25 yarder through to give WOS a 10-6 lead with 10:14 left in the 3rd. After a Sweetwater punt, WOS started a drive at their own 38. They made it to the Sweetwater 13 when the 3rd quarter ended.

Sweetwater defensive back Kobe Clark picked off a Jack Dallas pass in the end zone to start the 4th quarter. A few plays later, WOS defensive back Ronald Carter recovered a fumble at the Sweetwater 35 yard line. Dallas scored on a 1 yard run to make the score 17-6 with 7:58 left in the game. Sweetwater tried to get back in the game and went for it on a 4th down play in their territory but a screen pass was intercepted by linebacker Justin Brown who scored from 31 yards out. That gave WOS a 24-6 lead with 5:38 left. WOS forced a Sweetwater punt and they were able to run the clock out from there.
