That will show you how the top teams fared, but as always, there were some surprises. Here are a few teams to watch as they might be moving towards the top of the rankings.
- 6A -- Humble Atascocita beat Houston power Galena Park North Shore. Atascocita has turned things around since getting beat badly by Klein Collins in week 4
- 5A -- Prosper is rolling at 5-1. They might be adjusting to 5A ball after going 16-16 in their 3 seasons at the higher level.
- 4A -- Texarkana Pleasant Grove beat district rival and Top 10 Gilmer in a wild game.
- 3A -- Top 10 teams beat their district mates by scores of 78-0, 63-0, 71-8, 62-0 and 63-0.
- 2A -- Only Wellington played against a Top 20 team this week and they beat #18 Memphis 48-14.
- 1A -- Division II's #7, #9 and #10 all lost but to higher ranked opponents.
