Cypress Springs and Jersey Village Coming Off Back To Back Wild Games
When Cypress Springs and Jersey Village have played each other the past two seasons, it has been a record breaking event. The fans really got their moneys worth last Thursday as the Panthers from Cypress Springs beat the Falcons from Jersey Village 74-63. The 137 combined points ranks #23 on the all-time list for highest scoring games.
Highest Scoring Regular Season Game - Both Teams Need 114 Points to make the list 201 Games Listed
The weird thing is that these two schools also scored 137 combined points in their 2016 game. Jersey Village won that one 72-65.
All-Time Jersey Village leads this series 11-5 which began in 1998 which was Cypress Springs first varsity season.
Even though these two provided some great games, they will most likely not be in the playoffs again this year. Their district 17-6A is extremely competitive.
