Mart led this years group by playing in their 10th all-time championship game. Even though Aledo lost, they still lead this years group in championship wins with seven (7). There were five (5) first timers as Cypress Fairbanks, College Station, Texarkana Pleasant Grove, Muenster and Kennedale all played in their first ever state championship game.
