Jim Streety Moves Into The 7th Spot All-Time For Coaching Wins

San Antonio Madison’s head coach Jim Streety is now in 7th place all-time for coaching wins. His all-time record is 314-122-3. With his latest win against San Antonio Roosevelt, he moves ahead of long time Buda Hays Consolidated head coach Bob Shelton (313-187-7).

He is tied with the next coach on the list with long time Childress head coach Charlie Johnston. Johnston’s all-time record is 314-94-8.

Colleyville Heritage Quarterback Cody Thomas was 19 for 27 with 267 yards and a Touchdown. For the season, he is now 184-278 2,178 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Sundown running back Garrett Carter ran for 148 yards on 28 carries and scored 4 touchdowns. For the season, he now has 1,565 yards on 158 carries and 25 touchdowns. He is averaging 9.91 yards per carry.

Weslaco East 28, Rio Grande City 14
Weslaco East running back Aaron Mungia carried the ball 42 times for 303 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. For the season, he now has 196 carries for 1,285 yards and 18 touchdowns.
