- Mike Says: The Tigers have turned things around under coach Svoboda. They are now always at the top of the standings. This year they bring back 9 starters from last years playoffs team. The offensive line will be very strong with Tezeno and Allen up front. This is a very tough district. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season and come in 3rd in the district behind Spring DeKaney and Klein Oak. They will probably be a Division I playoff team and go 1 or 2 rounds in the playoffs. The Woodlands who beat them in Bi-District play looks like the likely opponent again in the first round.
- Chris Says: Klein Collins doesn’t bring a lot of starting talent back this season, but they have some good ones on the line. That combined with the sheer volume of returning lettermen should set them up well for the season. District 13-5A is no walk in the park though, as they will have to struggle to even earn one of the playoff spots.

Mike Says: This will be the biggest game in Houston. The Woodlands has the history with Collins first varsity season being in 2002. The Highlanders had a lot of trouble last year with Klein Oak. Collins will need a big game from running back Shane Rhodes. The TIGERS win 28-24!!!
Chris Says: The Woodlands are peaking at the perfect time. They have produced shutouts in the last four games and outscoring their opponents 175-0 in that time. The loss to Lufkin awoke something in this team that will be hard to put down. The HIGHLANDERS win 28-14!!!
