Weslaco East Hires 2nd Ever Head Coach

2013 Coaching Change: Weslaco East Wildcats

Old Head Coach: Armando Cuellar — Retiring after leading the Wildcats for the past 11 years to a 59-61 record. He has been the only coach for the Wildcats since they began varstiy play in 2002. His only other head coaching position was at Weslaco from 1996-1999 going 21-22. His all-time coaching record is 80-83. He has also been an assistant at Mercedes, Weslaco, McAllen Memorial, Progreso and Donna.

New Head Coach: Michael Burget — Was the offensive coordinator since 2006. This will be his first head coaching position.

Team News: The Wildcats have gone 45-14 since 2008.
