Coaching Changes — Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated

Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated has hired Ronald Patton as their next head coach and campus coordinator. He replaces Lydell Wilson who has left to take over the same position at Houston King.
Wilson leaves Lamar after being the head coach for the last eight years going 50-40 during that time. Patton comes over after being the defensive coordinator at Cypress Ridge.
Lamar is a member of District 23-4A along with Angleton, Bay City, El Campo, Freeport Brazosport, Richmond Foster and Rosenberg Terry. The Mustangs 4-6 finish in 2009 ended a 4 year winning streak.
