Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series

The Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series looks to be another great one this year. This seasons games will feature the defending 5A Division I state champion Euless Trinity in the opening game and then the reigning national champion Thomas Aquinas from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the 3rd game of the day. More than 30,000 fans attended the event in 2009.
The Trojans start the day off against vs. Shiloh Christian of Springdale, Arkansas. Shiloh Christian has won six Arkansas state titles in the last 12 years, including three of the last four. Cedar Hill will play Denton Guyer in the 2nd game which will showcase one of the best QB's in Texas (Denton Guyers J.W. Walsh). In the 3rd game, Dallas Skyline will try to take it to the next level when they take on the reigning national champions from Florida. DeSoto and Arlington Bowie will play the 4th game of the day starting at 7:30 p.m.
The games will be played on Labor Day, Monday September 6th at Cowboys Stadium.
