Mike Says: Rogers won a wild one last week vs. Mart in one of LSG's games of the week. So, far they have not been able to stop anyone this year. The good news for them is that no one has been able to stop they either. Their scores look like Arena Football scores. Franklin has just been whipping people. They especially put it on Tomball Memorial who might want to reconsider varsity play next year at the 4A level after that beating. What a great game to start district play with. I picked Rogers last week and they did not let me down. It will be another 50 yard war...oh sorry I thought I was getting ready for an arena game. The EAGLES win it 42-38!!

Chris Says: All is right in the world once again as Mike and I disagree on quite a few games this week.  In the end, the numbers tell it all in this one.  Rogers is scoring less than Franklin and has given up over 100 points more to opponents.  Pretty simple math here.   That's the difference - both teams are scoring over 50 points per game, but Rogers is giving up more PER GAME (34.0) than Franklin has given up TOTAL (33)!!!    Sure, Rogers beat Mart and that counts for a lot, but Franklin has lived up to expectations although against weaker opponents.  If Franklin is going to make a move this season, it has to start now as both of them still have to face a tough Thorndale squad.  The LIONS pull off the upset this week 42-35!!!
