  • Mike Says: The Indians do not bring many players back from last years 7-4 team. They should be in contention for a playoff spot behind Nederland. Even though they have a small enrollment they will probably go Division I. This would set up a first round playoff match-up with Dayton which would be pretty rough. Look for them to finish the regular season at 7-3 or 6-4 and go a few rounds into the playoffs.
  • Chris Says: Port Neches-Groves will definitely be a playoff team this year, but the district title looks to be a bit out of reach.  The team brings back a lot of lettermen, but very few starters.  If last season's backups step into their roles early, expect the Indians to get 5 or 6 wins.  Two rounds of postseason are probably all they can expect in this rebuilding season.
