Mike Says: The Cougars only bring back 6 starters and 15 lettermen from last years playoff team. Coach Clayton is used to that though and will field another great team this year. The backfield will be highlighted this year with RB James and QB Thomas leading the way. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season and make the playoffs. They will most likely come in 3rd behind Houston Memorial and Katy. Once in the playoffs, they will go Division I and go 2 or 3 rounds.

Chris Says: Katy Cinco Ranch's only district loss last season was the season finale against Katy. This year, district play will be very similar. The Cougars don't return a lot of starters, but they bring back two offensive powerhouses in James and Thomas. Don't expect a long playoff run, but three rounds is not out of the question.
