Mike Says: The Eagles have been very impressive during their four seasons of varsity football. This year the table has been cleared for them. The three teams that they lost to have all moved to another classification. La Marque moved down to 3A while Manvel and Austin Lake Travis moved up to 5A. They will make another strong run this year behind the running of James White and receiving of WR Upchurch. Look for them to go 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season and win the tough district 24-4A. They will go Division I in the playoff and should make a trip to at least the Quarterfinals. Their toughest regional competition will come from Angleton and Dayton.

Chris Says: Pearland Dawson brings back most of their offense, but lost most of their defense to graduation. Expect good things from the Eagles again this year as they should win district and be poised for another run. Could they get further this season? Yes, if they don't overlook some of the teams in the second and third round of playoffs, they could end up in the title game.
