Mike Says: The Bulldogs came up a little short last year not making it to their 4th championship game in 5 years losing to a tough El Campo team. Last years team was young so this years team will look to advance further. They have some very solid talent coming back including 10 offensive starters. We have them going to the state championship game this year but we have them falling to Argyle. Their pre-district game against Whitehouse will pit one of 3A's best against one of 4A's best.

Chris Says: In addition to having the biggest and baddest scoreboard in Texas high school football, the Carthage Bulldogs have a powerhouse team that brings back an amazing 10 of 12 starters on the offense! That means QB, Blake Bogenschulz is going to once again tear up the opposition enroute to another district crown. We have Argyle beating them in the championship game, but at that level, the Bulldogs could just as well win their 5th crown.
