Notes: Two of the winningest schools in championship history. They go into this game with a combined record of 10-1 in the title game. Allen has never lost and will be playing in their 5th championship game. Austin Lake Travis is the defending champion and will be making their 8th appearance.

Mike Says : I have Allen #3 in my rankings and Lake Travis #4. My #1 was Katy who Lake Travis got a little revenge on last week to get here. This will be a great game. Allen has won against Houston teams in their previous 4 games. This is no Houston school but ALLEN still wins to go 5-0 in championship games.

Chris Says : I have Allen tied for #1 in my rankings and Austin Lake Travis down at #9. The Cavs have slogged through a playoff schedule with a mix of super teams and patsies. When it came down to it, they won. Allen has had a more consistently playoff schedule but has done just what they needed to win. I have seen Lake Travis live a couple games this year and saw weaknesses at time. I have only seen Allen once in 2017 and saw no cracks. My eyes and my rankings say Allen wins it, but cringe at the thought of picking against Lake Travis in a title game. I will go with LAKE TRAVIS.
