2011 Coaching Change -- Hurst Bell Blue Raiders
Old Head Coach: Gary Olivo -- Retiring after six years as Bell head coach and 35 years of coaching. Olivo went 31-33 while at Bell and finished with a career record of 64-55. His teams made the playoffs four of the six years that he was head coach.
New Head Coach: Mark Smith -- Was the Defensive Coordinator last season. He has also been assistant coach at Colleyville Heritage and Irving MacArthur.
Team News: The Blue Raiders went 6-5 last season losing to Cedar Hill in Bi-District. Last season their losses came to teams with a combined record of 47-17. Their wins were against teams with a combined record of 19-42. Their most wins in a season since 1998 has only been "7".
