2011 Coaching Change: Linden-Kildare Tigers
Old Head Coach: Jerry Bennett — Leaving for 2A Jefferson. He led the Tigers to an overall 20-16 record over the last three seasons. His win totals went from 2 to 8 to 10 under his watch. He was the head coach at Jefferson for 19 years 1982-2000. His record with the Bulldogs during that time was 122-83-5. Coach Bennett was the head coach during the 1986 3A Championship season when they defeated Cuero 24-0. The field at Jeffersons W. F. Lockett Stadium is name after coach Bennett (Jerry Bennett Field). He is the all-time leader in coaching wins at Jefferson and has an all-time coaching record of 171-73-5.
New Head Coach: Todd Elliott -- Was the offensive coordinator at Texarkana Pleasant Grove.
