2011 Coaching Change: Miles Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: Cody Slater — Left for 3A Wichita Falls Hirschi. Was the head coach here for only one season going 8-4. The 8-4 finish was the schools first winning season and playoff appearance since 2000. When they defeated Marfa 54-24 in their bi-district matchup if was Miles first playoff win since 1967. Coach Slaters other coaching jobs have been Offensive Coordinator positions at Arlington Sam Houston, Olney and Petrolia. He also coached at Kaufman and Wichita Falls Hirschi. He played college ball at Midwestern State.
New Head Coach: Wade Cribbs -- Was the defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs.
Team News: 2010's 8-4 record ended a 9 year losing streak for the Bulldogs.
