Tyler Chapel Hill Holds On For a Wild Win Over Whitehouse

The Class 3A #1 team Tyler Chapel Hill had their hand full with Whitehouse but came away with a wild 59-49 victory Thursday night. The teams combined for a 1117 total yards. This was the first game of the Trinity Mother Frances Football Classic at TMF Rose Stadium.
Tyler Chapel Hill (2-0) quarterback Avery Saenz completed 25 of 33 passes for 308 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 64 yards and two more touchdowns. For the season, he now has completed 35 of 46 passes for 716 yards and 10 Touchdowns over two games.
Whitehouse quarterback Hunter Taylor had a record breaking night in the loss as he completed 34 of 56 for 502 yards and five touchdowns. He has now completed 61 passes on 109 attempts for 897 yards and 9 touchdowns over two games. His favorite receiver Jonathan Aldridge caught 11 passes for 214 yards and 2 TDs. Aldridge now has 17 receptions for 401 yards and 3 touchdowns over 2 games.
