District 7-5A Matchup

These two schools have only met up twice since Guyer began varsity play in 2006. Guyer has won both matchups which were played last year during Guyers run to the championship game. They beat Carroll 28-14 in the regular season and then again 24-14 in the Quarterfinals.
Both of these schools have qualified for the playoffs.

Mike Says: Both of these teams won their Game Of The Week when they both played Coppell. Guyer is looking to go back to the championship game. Southlake has lots of talent led by quarterback Kenny Hill who leads them in both passing and rushing. His favorite receivers are Peyton Williams and Sabian Holmes. The Dragon defense is led by LB Will Davis and DB Tanner Jacobson. The DRAGONS win 30-24!!!

Chris Says: A lot of people are saying that last year was a fluke when Guyer downed the Dragons twice. A lot of people are saying that Guyer's championship run was a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence. A lot of people are wrong. Guyer has outplayed Southlake Carroll against like opponents and outplayed Southlake Carroll when they met head-to-head last season. It continues with this game. Denton Guyer wins the district and the WILDCATS win the game 31-28!!!!
