Lewisville Replaces Dick Olin With Katy Defensive Coordinator

2012 Coaching Change: Lewisville Farmers
Old Head Coach: Dick Olin -- Leaving to be the offensive coordinator at at Stephen F. Austin College. He led the Farmers for the past 3 years to an overall 7-23. Before coming to Lewisville, he was the head coach at From Baytown Lee for 17 years going 106-78-0. He has an all-time coaching record of 144-135-0. He is one of the founders of state 7-on-7 summer football tournament and the co-creator of the Bayou Bowl which is an all-star game between Texas and Louisiana.
New Head Coach: Gregg Miller -- Was the defensive coordinator at Katy.
Team News: The farmers have had 1 winning season in last 10 years (8-4 in 2007). They will move District 5-5A from 8-5A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Coppell, Denton Ryan, Flower Mound, Lewisville Hebron and Flower Mound Marcus.
