Nacogdoches Hires Bobby Reyes

2012 Coaching Change: Nacogdoches Dragons

Old Head Coach: Scott Ford -- Leaving for 3A Hidalgo. He led the Dragons to a 4-16 record over the last 2 seasons. Before taking over from the Dragons, he coached at 5A Los Fresnos where he went 65-19 in 7 years. He also coached 1 year at 4A Joshua going 4-6. Coach Ford has also been an assistant coach at Cleburne, Killeen Ellison and Leander.

New Head Coach: Bobby Reyes -- Retired in 2009 from 4A McKinney leading the Lions to a 11-21 record from 2007-2009. His other head coaching job was at 4A Richardson Pearce from 1999-2006 going 52-33.

Team News: They will move from District 14-4A to 16-4A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Corsicana, Jacksonville, Lindale, Tyler John Tyler and Whitehouse.
