2012 Coaching Change: Mansfield Timberview Wolves
Old Head Coach: Mark Walker - Was promoted to the assistant athletic director position.
New Head Coach: James Brown — From 3A North Forney where he led the Falcons to a 10-2 in his only season their. It was the Falcons 2nd ever season. Before heading up the Falcons, he was the head coach at Fort Bend Kempner where led the Cougars from 2007-2010 to a 22-20 record. He was also a head coach at 4A Brazosport (2-8 in 2006) after being an assistant at Alvin and El Paso Andress.
Team News: 2011 was the best season in school history for the Wolves. Their first varsity season was in 2004. They will move to District 7-5A from District 5-5A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Midlothian and South Grand Prairie.
