2012 Coaching Change: West Hardin Oilers
Old Head Coach: Jason Henry -- Resigned after leading the Oilers to a 12-9 record over the last 2 seasons.
New Head Coach: Steve Stewart -- Was the offensive coordinator at West. Before that he was the head coach at Rio Vista from 2001-2004 going 17-25. He then went to Kenedy from 2005-2006 going 7-13 and finally Electra from 2007-2010 going 6-34. His all-time coaching record sits at 30-72.
Team News: The Oilers 2011 season was their best since 2003. They will stay in District 11-1A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Colmesneil, Hull-Daisetta and Iola.
