Somerville Hires Slaton OC

2012 Coaching Change: Somerville Yeguas

Old Head Coach: Pete Martinez -- Resigned after leading the Yeguas for the past 2 years to a 7-13 record. This was his first head coaching position.

New Head Coach: Scott Pederson -- Was the offensive coordinator at 2A Slaton.

Team News: The Yeguas have made the playoffs only once since 1990. They will be moving to District 13-1A Division II from 12-1A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Bartlett, Burton, Granger, Milano and Snook.
