2012 Coaching Change: Ballinger Bearcats
Old Head Coach: Aaron Keesee — Led the Bearcats for the past 3 seasons to a 9-22 record. He is a former Bearcat and Texas Tech quarterback. He led the Bearcats to a 21-4-1 record as a starter in the early 80's.
New Head Coach: Justin Wiley -- From 3A Smithville where he led the Tigers to a 19-31 record over 5 years. The Tigers 2011 record of 7-3 was the schools best since 1971.
Team News: The Bearcats 1 win in 2011 was the least since 1976. They will be moving down to District 4-2A Division II from 3-2A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Cisco, Coleman, Colorado City, Hamilton and Hawley.
