2012 Coaching Change: Amarillo Boys Ranch Roughriders
Old Head Coach: Michael Lozano -- Retiring after leading the Roughriders for the past 7 years going 27-43.
New Head Coach: Kyle Bracey -- Was a former assistant with the Roughriders. He was their assistant for 6 years before leaving in 2009 for a professional fighting career where he won a Bronze Medal at the 2009 World Grappling Championships.
Team News: The Roughriders have had 3 consecutive non-winning seasons. They will be moving up to District 1-2A Division II from 1-1A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Amarillo Highland Park, Canadian, Sanford-Fritch and Spearman.
