Enrollment: 586 -- 6th largest in the district out of 7 schools

Mike Says: The Bears are in one of the states toughest districts. They will have a very difficult time competing for a playoff spot with Tyler Chapel Hill, Gilmer, Henderson and Kilgore in the district with them. Expect them to go 3-7 or 4-6 for the season.

Chris Says: It doesn't get a whole lot tougher than District 16-3A and I am sure the Gladewater Bears are tired of hearing that. They will take their butt-whupping when going up against teams like Gilmer & Henderson and they are still a season away from being in contention for a playoff spot. The positive though is that they will have a solid core returning for 2013 that are game hardened against some of the toughest competition 3A has to offer. The Bears have an outside chance for another 5-5 season this year.
