Enrollment: 278.5 -- 2nd largest in the district out of 7 schools

Coaches Comments: We have to have some young kids step up for depth. We have a chance to be as good as we have been in a while on defense but our offense will have to catch up. District Outlook: Arp, Frankston, Garrison, West Rusk Should be the teams 1-4.

Mike Says: The Tigers are looking to have another great season. A 10+ win season might be a little difficult though with their pre-district schedule that includes Top 10 2A DI Tatum and Top 5 2A DII Elysian Fields. All-State player WR/DB/QB Roberson will be exciting to watch. He and Potts will probably never come off the field. Look for them to go 8-2 or 9-1 in the regular season and then advance to at least the Regionals again.

Chris Says: Coach Dale Irwin's Arp teams do one thing you can count on - win. This year will be no exception. The other thing they do, and people may argue this is why they win, is to schedule strong opponents in their pre-district schedule. Once again, it appears that the Tigers will get to relax a bit when they get down to their 10-2A Division II games. Adding Garrison to the district will be the biggest challenge as they move up to 2A after a couple of great seasons in 1A. Arp should take the title and still be playing by the Quarterfinals or Semis.
