Coaches Comments: We should contend for a District Title. Challenges will be staying healthy and playing sound aggressive defense and focusing on one game at a time. Being able to fit personnel efficiently and effectively and controlling games in the 2nd half due to depth and personnel rotations. District Outlook: D'Hanis, Medina, Nueces Canyon, Rocksprings. Will be a competitive district as always with many teams returning starters.

Mike Says: The Yellow Jackets bring back 18 starters from last years 7-4 team. Look for them to battle Nueces Canyon for 2nd place in the district. They should finish up the regular season with a 6-4 or 7-3 record.

Chris Says: Sabinal brings back a good level of experience from a team that did well last season. Don't expect them to make a long run in the playoffs, but they actually could contend for the district title. In what looks like a perfect setup for a movie script, that final regular season game against D'Hanis will likely decide the champion.
