- Mike Says: The Yoemen started off 0-4 last year playing a very tough pre-district schedule. They were ready come district time though as they went undefeated to the district championship. This year they bring back 16 starters from that team and they look ready to compete for a state championship. Hempstead will be a challenge for the Region crown. Look for them to finish the regular season with a 9-1 or 10-0 record and advance to at least the Quarterfinals.
- Chris Says: Two years ago when I talked to Rick Rhoades at 7on7, he said it would be this year before they would have a team that is a serious contender. Last year, they ended up finishing strong but really weren't a factor in the playoffs. Cameron Yoe bring back a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and are ready to make that run. Expect their regular season to be drastically different this year and with some luck on matchup, we will see them playing in December.
