Mike Says: The Cowboys will be in a fight for a playoff spot. This is a very tough district and every game will count. DB Jones will lead a very tough defense. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 for the season and battle Rice Consolidated for that 3rd playoff spot.

Chris Says: Edna has had some good teams the past few seasons but they have been in one of the toughest districts in Class 2A. This season, the Cowboys bring back a ton of experience and once again they will need it. They should have no trouble making the playoffs, but they won't win district. Once in the playoffs, they should be battle tested enough to go two round deep.
