Notes:
* Have had only 1 losing season (6-7 in 2010) over the last 14 years

  • Mike Says: The Comanches had another mediocre record last year but they play a very tough pre-district schedule. That tough schedule got them ready for district play and the playoffs as they made it all the way to the Quarterfinals. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season this year. Their district game vs. Ganado will be for the title. They may get a re-match with Mason in the playoffs (Mason won 55-7 last year).
  • Chris Says: Shiner is one of those teams that I have always loved.  How can you not?  They always have a winning season, and their town has a lot of spirit.  (Not to mention a cool brewery!)  This year has the makings of being one of their better ones and that is saying something for this team.  If the offensive line develops, expect an even better season out of quarterback, Jacob Stafford.  The Comanches will shine in the regular season with the battle for the district title coming down to the game versus Ganado - I think I am going to try to make it to that one!  Regardless of landing first or second in district, the Comanches will make the postseason and could make it past the Quarterfinals this time.
