Mike Says: The Eagles had a great season last year making it all the way to the championship game. They lost a lot to graduation but this year they are a top 10-15 team. Sadler will be a superstar on offense and kicker Cole Hedlund may be the best in the state at any level. They play a pretty rough pre-district schedule with Kennedale and Abilene Wylie and will battle Celina for the district title. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season. They might be the division I team if Aubrey gets in. That would make things a little tougher but they should go 2 or 3 rounds into the playoffs either way.

Chris Says: Argyle is a team that I really like despite the fact that they gave my hometown Wimberley Texans all they could handle in last years championship game. The Eagles had some impressive wins last year in the playoffs and despite bringing back 21 lettermen, only 7 starters return. While the experience from last season will help, there are going to have to be a lot of athletes step into starting roles to repeat last years result. Expect them to be a dogfight for the District 10-3A title and once in the playoffs, there are so many new powerhouses in Class 3A that it is doubtful they will last more than three rounds.
