* The last 3 years they were in Class 1A, the Wildcats went a combined 32-7
* Last season snapped their 9 year streak of consecutive playoff appearances

Mike Says: The Wildcats will have a tough time even though they are dropping down a classification this year. The biggest change is that longtime head coach Dennis Alexander has left. Their record may be better though due to a not so bad schedule. They do have 11 starters coming back though and a good JV moving up. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 and fight for that last playoff spot.

Chris Says: Harleton is another team with a first year head coach in this year of coaching turnover. New coach, Jackie Lloyd inherits some good returning starters on both sides of the ball and a team that drops to Class 1A. Even so, they drop into District 9-1A Division I as only the third largest team. It is doubtful the Wildcats can win district against teams like Price Carlisle and Joaquin, and may even have trouble making it to the postseason.
