Mike Says: The Mustangs will rely on quarterback Barajas again after he threw 44 TDs last year. They will play a pretty tough non-district schedule with match-ups against Refugio, George West and Cuero. Look for them to go 7-3 or 6-4 in the regular season and come in 2nd or 3rd in the district behind Sinton. Once in the playoffs they are good enough to go 2 or 3 rounds.

Chris Says: Graig Hesseltine has managed to average nearly 9 wins a season over the past 8 years and if they hadn't scheduled so many monster games in pre-district, I might predict that again. That said, the Mustangs will be an excellent team this year and if they can manage a win against Sinton (lost last season by 1) Ingleside could even take the district title. Once in the "second season" expect them to go farther than they did last year.
