Coaches Comments: We look to be stronger after another great off-season in the weight room. Because of that, we are faster all around, we have less injury, and we feel like we will have the ability to put up more points this year. District Outlook: LaVega, Connally, Robinson No surprises

Mike Says: The Cadets had a big turnaround last year with 2nd year coach Rabe going from 0 to 6 wins. This year they bring back 16 lettermen in hopes they will lead them to the playoffs for the first time since 2005. They open the season with one of the states best 2A schools in Cameron Yoe which will be a good yardstick. Look for them to go 5-5 or 4-6 for the regular season. They will have to knock of Robinson who is projected to be the 3rd playoff team in the district to get to the next level.

Chris Says: Waco Connally is one of those teams that is positioned well, but will need a couple things to go their way. The bring back a lot of starters on offense and a few good one on defense. For that reason, last season's backups will have to step up. They are going to have to step up fast as they face Cameron Yoe right off the bat and Alvarado just before district. Once in district play, the Cadets will have to scrap to get one of the playoff spots.
