- Mike Says: The Sandies bring back 12 starters from last years 5A Area round playoff team. The offense should once again put lots of points on the board while the defense has enough coming back to be a force. They are a TOP 25 4A team and should win the district. Look for them to go 7-3 or 6-4 in the regular season. Once in the playoffs, they should go 2 or 3 rounds.
- Chris Says: Amarillo should be solid this season. Not only do they bring back a lot of talent, but the Sandstorm drop down to Class 4A. Expect a Sandie district title and at least three rounds of playoffs.
