Mike Says: The Deer have had a lot of success over the past few years. This year it will be a little more difficult to keep that win streak alive but not out of the question. They will rely heavily on their defense to get the wins. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 in the regular season and come in 4th in the district to make the playoffs. Expect them to come in behind Port Arthur Memorial, La Porte and Galena Park North Shore.

Chris Says: Deer Park brings back very few starters from last season. That combined with being in a very strong District 21-5A will make a playoff run very difficult. The Deer should still manage to come in 4th and take a quick trip to the postseason.
