Mike Says: The Mustangs had their best season every last year. This years team brings back 12 starters and 27 lettermen. The strength of the team will be wide receiver and defensive line. Look for them to go 6-4 or 7-3 in the regular season and come in 3rd in the district behind Garland and Garland Rowlett.

Chris Says: Garland Sasche surprised quite a few folks last season, not the least of which were their district opponents. This season, the Mustangs bring back half of their starters, but District 11-5A will be ready for them. They will battle it out each week and if some of the close ones go their way, they should head into the playoffs strong. Once there, it will be two rounds in when they will meet up with some of the strong regional powers and head home.
