2013 Coaching Change: Whitney Wildcats
Old Head Coach: Craig Stanton -- Has resigned after leading the Wildcats to a 2-8 record over 1 season. Before taking over the Wildcats, he was the Defensive Coordinator at Burleson. This was his first head coaching position.
New Head Coach: Kenneth Gilchrist -- From 3A Caldwell where he led the Hornets for 1 season to a 1-8 record. He returns to the Wildcats after leaving after the 2011 season. His Wildcat teams went 11-19 over 3 years. He has also been an assistant at Duncanville, Austin Lake Travis, Cameron Yoe and Hempstead.
Team News: The Wildcats have had only 1 winning season (6-5 in 2005) in the last 28 years.
