2013 Coaching Change: Mesquite Horn Jaguars
Old Head Coach: Rodney Webb -- Leaving for 5A Rockwall. He led the Jaguars to a 31-28 record over the past 5 seasons where his teams went to the playoffs in all five years. He has also been a Head Coach at Royse City (2003-2007 44-16). Coach Webb was also an assistant coach at Austin High, Garland, and Ruidoso, New Mexico.
New Head Coach: Mike Overton -- Was at West Mesquite where he led the Wranglers to a 54-28 record over the past 7 seasons where his teams went to the playoffs in all seven years. Was also head coach at 3A Farmersville from 2002-2004 going 13-17. He has also been an assistant at Mequite.
Team News: The Jaguars tied for their least number of losses in a season last year with 4. They also went 6-4 in 2003. They have been playing varsity football since 2002.
