2013 Coaching Change: Whitewright Tigers
Old Head Coach: Jack Wylie — Resigned after leading the Tigers to a 8-13 record over the past 2 seasons. He was the defensive coordinator for two seasons before taking over as head coach. His only other head coaching job was at 1A Flatonia in 1998-1999 going 8-12 during his two seasons. He has also been an assistant at McKinney North, Howe and McKinney.
New Head Coach: Wes Rhoten -- Was the offensive coordinator at 3A Robinson for the past 2 seasons. His only other head coaching job was at Canton in 2010 where he led the Eagles to a 10-2 season. He has also worked as an assistant at Canton, Paris Chisum, Belton, Flower Mound Marcus and Lewisville ISD middle schools. Coach Rhoten played college football at Harding University,
Team News: The Tigers had their worst season since 1990 last year. They have gone from 10 wins in 2010 to 7 wins in 2011 to 1 win in 2012.
