Clear Springs Promotes DC to Replace Hartman

2013 Coaching Change: Clear Springs Chargers
Old Head Coach: Clint Hartman — Leaving for 5A San Antonio East Central. He led the Chargers to a 40-18 record over the past 5 seasons. He was the first head coach at Clear Springs which began varsity play in 2008. His 2009 team made it to the state quarterfinals and they were district champions in 3 of the past 4 seasons. He has also been an assistant at Odessa and El Paso Tornillo and was the defensive coordinator at Seguin from 2003-2006.
New Head Coach: Frank Maldonado -- Was the Chargers defensive coordinator since the school began varstiy play in 2008. This will be his first head coaching position. He has been an assistant at Seguin, Tyler John Tyler, Odessa and El Paso Socorro.
Team News: The Chargers have gone 40-18 in their 5 seasons of varsity play.
