2013 Coaching Change: Galena Park Yellow Jackets
Old Head Coach: Ray Zepeda -- Leaving to take an Athletic Director job at Cy Fair ISD. He led the Yellow Jackets for the past 7 years to a 38-34 record. Before taking over the Yellow Jackets, he was at 3A Mathis where he led the Pirates for 2 seasons to a 8-11 record. He was the Yellow Jackets defensive coordinator from 1999-2003. Coach Zepeda has also worked as an assistant at Houston Milby and Corpus Christi Ray.
New Head Coach: Dave Handal -- Was the assistant head football coach and defensive coordinator at Richardson Berkner for the past six years.
Team News: The Yellow Jackets have gone 22-28 over the past 5 seasons.
